Sunday July 21st edition of Concerts on the Common moved to HHS Auditorium

Due to this weekend’s inclement heat wave, the Sunday, July 21st edition of Concerts on the Common, featuring the Hopkinton Community Summer Band, has been relocated to the air conditioned Hopkinton High School Auditorium. The concert is still set to begin at 5:00 pm and will go until 7:00 pm.

Hopkinton Veterans' Breakfast on Friday, July 12th

Dear Veterans:

Local veterans will be gathering for breakfast on 12 July 2019, at 0900 hours at the Senior Center. As always there will be great chow and a room-full of camaraderie.

Recently deceased comrades who passed-on during the previous month will be remembered, and those on "Sick Call" will be announced to allow opportunities for visits and/or notes and letters. Gestures that brighten the day of a fellow veteran are always appreciated.

This past Saturday the 16th annual Sharon Timlin 5K/Family Fun Day Memorial Event took place to fight against ALS. Over 1,100 runners participated in the event at the Hopkinton High School fields.

MOVE a program for Young Girls is expanding their services and Co-Founder, Ashley Olafsen, will be hosting a workshop for parents called "Bridging the Gap Between Parents and Teen Daughters: How to Help Girls Navigate." Monthly Veterans Breakfast on June 7th

Friday, 7 June 2019, 0900 hours, at the Senior Center at 28 Mayhew Street. There's a chair waiting for you. Join your fellow veterans for chipped beef, a review of military events that occurred previously on June 7th, and an opportunity to win a free lunch in the monthly baseball quiz.
