2014 Hopkinton Good Scout Award Reception

You are cordially invited to join your friends for the 2014 Hopkinton Good Scout Award reception to honor Mindy Van Schaick and Barbara Wilson, both exceptional community leaders and professionals.

The reception will be held on June 26, 2014 at the Hopkinton Country Club. The gathering will begin at 6:00 p.m., with an Opening Ceremony by the Scouts at 7:00 p.m. The Reception and the Awards presentation will follow.

The Scouting program in Hopkinton has been serving our youth and families for many decades. The Good Scout Award event raises necessary funds to support Scouting while recognizing those individuals who personify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives and who have excelled in their chosen career or personal interests. This award has been presented to numerous individuals in the MetroWest area who have made significant contributions to their community. Mindy Van Schaick of Middlesex Savings Bank has been very active with community service to the Town of Hopkinton. Barbara Wilson served in many Scouting roles in Hopkinton for a number of years and continues to help with community needs wherever possible.

RSVP: Please return the enclosed reservation form in the self-addressed envelope by June 20, 2014. Reservations are $45 each. Senior Citizens are $40 each. You can also go online at www.ktc-bsa.org/event/hgsr to make a reservation and/or to make a donation to be a sponsor.

The enclosed reservation form can be used to reserve a place at the reception and/or to become a sponsor for this event. Any sponsor who makes a direct contribution to the event, apart from a reception reservation, will be listed in the evening’s program book. Sponsors of Eagle Scout through Star Scout Levels are asked to include their business logo and/or business card (see enclosed).
