Hopkinton Public Library Foundation’s Touch-A-Truck and Food Truck Festival is back! The event will take place rain or shine on Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., at the Hopkinton High School Parking Lot. This event has something for all ages!

Climb aboard construction, service and emergency trucks and vehicles from local individuals, businesses, and the Town of Hopkinton, including American Climbers, Maple Farm Dairy, JC Parmenter, Mark’s Moving & Storage, Norton & Haines Transportation Co., Asphalt Engineering, United Home Experts, National Guard, Holliston Oil, Greenwood Landscaping, Scott’s Septic, and so many more. As in years past, we are looking forward to about 50 different vehicles filling the HHS parking lot, including the Hopkinton Fire Department ladder truck! Roaming Railroad will be there to take children on rides on a trackless train.

Touch-A-Truck is generously sponsored by UniBank for the second year in a row. Phipps Insurance Agency returns as a many-year, key sponsor of this fun filled, community event.

Bring a blanket or chair and feast on lunch and dessert from a variety of Food Trucks including: Bird's Nest Italian Street Food, Boston Coffee Rescue, Cousin’s Lobster Truck, Joey D's Wingz 'n Thingz, Refreshin' Concessions, Ribpublic BBQ, Thee Taco Dude, Trolley Dogs, Uncle Joey’s Cannoli, Indian Street Cravings and Yummy Mummy.

In 2022, this fun-filled community event hosted 2,000 kids and their families, and raised over $18,000 for the Library of Things, a new collection of items for loan to our community! In addition to the Library of Things, this year’s event will fund One Book, One Hopkinton, the Reading Marathon, and Music and Movement concerts for little ones!

Tickets for admission to the lot are $8 for an adult and $5 for a child. Children under one are free. Speed up your check-in and purchase tickets in advance at www.hplfinc.org. Tickets will be available at three entry points. Food from participating Food Trucks and train rides are not included in the ticket admission price.

Parking is available at the Hopkinton Middle School, Hopkins School, and Marathon Elementary School. Michael Connolly & Sons will provide a free school bus shuttle between the Marathon School and main entrance of the HHS parking lot. Please do not park at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts, and please leave pets at home as they are not allowed on school property.

Limited space is still available for you or your business to participate. If your business has a vehicle to show off, or you would like to host a booth or sponsor the event, please contact us at info@hopkintonpubliclibraryfoundation.org. Help us make this year’s event a fun-filled success in support of Hopkinton Public Library!

About the Hopkinton Public Library Foundation.
Hopkinton Public Library Foundation, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose initial mission was to raise private funds for the expansion and state-of-the-art renovation of Hopkinton Public Library.

With the opening of this historic project, HPLF carries on its mission of supporting the Library by funding resources, technology, educational and special projects, and long term improvements to the Library. HPLF’s fundraising efforts seek to bridge the gap between the community’s aspirations for its Library and the usual or customary funding available from municipal budgets. Working in partnership with the Library, as well as the supporting organizations of the Trustees and Friends of the Library, the Foundation encourages continued and increased support of the Hopkinton Public Library as a valuable community resource.
