Updated Moderna Spikevax COVID-19 Vaccines, designed to target the current circulating form of COVID-19, is now approved and universally recommended for everyone ages 6 months and older.

People who do not have health insurance or have a health plan that does not cover the cost of vaccination, can get a free vaccine from the Hopkinton Health Department. All Children, even those privately insured are eligible for the Vaccines for Children program and may receive the vaccine for free from the Hopkinton Health Department.

If you have not received a COVID-19 vaccine in the past 2 months, get an updated COVID-19 vaccine to protect yourself this fall and winter. The Hopkinton Health Department currently has vaccines available for any uninsured adult, or any child ages 12-18, regardless of insurance. Appointments for this age group will be added to the VCF Flu/Covid Clinic scheduled for Thursday 11/9 from 3-5pm at Town Hall, Lower Level, Nursing Office. We do not have an anticipated date for the new SpikeVax COVID-19 for ages 6 months- 11 years old. We anticipate a very limited supply of the new Spikevax COVID-19 for those ages 19+ with private insurance.
