The Hopkinton Education Golf Ball Drop fundraiser will be held Monday, June 2 at 5:30pm at Hopkins Elementary School, with a rain date of June 3. The event will feature hot air balloon rides, weather permitting, courtesy of ReMax Executive Realty. The golf ball dropped closest to, or in, the hole wins $1000; furthest from the pin wins $100. Golf balls cost $10 each, or six for $50, and tickets are available from Liz Gormley, at gormley.elizabeth@gmail.com, or Maureen Belger, at mwb853@gmail.com. Only 1,000 golf balls will be sold.
