Levy Endorses Lamb

By contributor,

Today Marty Lamb, Republican candidate for State Representative in the Eighth Middlesex District, announced that Rep. Steven Levy has endorsed his candidacy.

"I am proud to endorse Marty Lamb for State Representative. He is extremely knowledgeable on small business issues. He will help us create a pro-business climate in Massachusetts so we can put people back to work," said Levy. "I know that Marty and I will be able to work well together in fighting for the interests of Westborough."

Levy is a first term State Representative who has worked to improve our state's economy and require fiscal accountability. He has also advocated and supported measures to create more transparency within the State House. Levy's voting record includes opposing the bundling of amendments, requiring bills to be in print for 24 hours before a vote, and listing committee votes online.

"I am honored to have Steve's support. Together we will be able to work in the best interest of Westborough, fight for fiscal and small business reforms and work to establish transparency at the State House," said Lamb.

"Marty Lamb will be another voice of reason at the State House. He will help add balance," said Levy.

Lamb has received many important endorsements including Citizens for Limited Taxation and the National Federation of Independent Business. Last week he held a fundraiser with Sheriff Lew Evangelidis. Also, Lamb has been releasing videos of Democrats crossing the aisle to support his candidacy.
