Unibank Pledges $50,000 to Hopkinton Community at Grand Opening

UniBank has opened its 12th branch located at 87 West Main Street in Hopkinton. The bank hosted a Ribbon Cutting event at its newest branch on November 18, 2015 welcoming local officials, business leaders, and community organizations to the event.

In his remarks prior to the ribbon cutting, UniBank President and CEO James F. Paulhus announced that the bank pledges $50,000 to be contributed to organizations throughout Hopkinton. Several of these organizations were in attendance to receive donations including: the Hopkinton Public Library, Serenity House, Hopkinton Education Foundation, Project Just Because, and The Michael Carter Lisnow Respite Center.

“UniBank is a community bank that has been serving the region for more than 145 years,” stated James F. Paulhus, President and CEO. “We are excited to open this branch, and look forward to serving the Hopkinton community.”

Ron Foisy represented the Hopkinton Chamber of Commerce in welcoming UniBank to the community remarking, “Thank you UniBank for investing in our community and contributing to so many local causes right from the start.”

In celebration of its newest branch, several special offers are available for new and current customers including premium rates on home equity lines of credit, CD and eChecking specials, and Fast Track Loans for businesses. All through the end of November the ATM at the new location will randomly give out $50 and $100 bills in place of the usual $20s. There is also a raffle for a gift basket full of gift cards redeemable at local Hopkinton merchants valued at $2,800.
