How does one express the urgent and dire nature of a friend and mother's situation without creating more fear, panic and worry. For those of you who know Marianne she is perhaps the kindest person I have ever met. I've always had kindness in my head and my heart but it was Marianne who demonstrated to me how to put it into application. Whether she'd be dropping off a homemade dinner to a friend not feeling well or finding a baby deer on the side of the road and staying with that fawn, helping them transition lovingly and peacefully back to nonphysical.
Well, now Marianne needs our help and our kindness as she has been hit with multiple serious medical challenges. For those of you who know Marianne she does not like to label, classify or categorize these things as that only gives them more power. This is the challenge in writing this GiveForward Fundraiser as I am limited in my words (no medical diagnoses nor prognoses will be used) to express how desperately and critically she need your help. As many of you know Marianne is going through her present life challenge and well, it's all come to a head and she needs us now.
She will not be able to work for the foreseeable future and her expenses for alternative medical therapies and solutions are quite costly and they are not covered by insurance. Truthfully, it is overwhelming her. The whole family is doing their best but there's just not enough funds for the wellness therapies that leave any monies for essential such as groceries and oil to keep the house warm this winter - let alone dog food for Hannah and Haley. We want Marianne to be able to focus entirely on getting well without being burdened by the overwhelming stress of trying to keep her head above (financial) water. Things can be soooooo much easier for her with just a little bit of help from caring people. Thank you one and all from the bottom of our hearts. Neal Smookler
