A Matter of Balance at Golden Pond

Do you have concerns about falling? A Matter of Balance is a program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels. The program emphasizes practical strategies to manage falls.

You will learn to:
- view falls as controllable
- set goals for increasing activity
- make changes to reduce fall risks at home
- exercise to increase strength and balance

Who should attend?
- Anyone concerned about falls
- Anyone interested in improving balance, flexibility and strength
- Anyone who has fallen in the past
- Anyone who has restricted activities because of falling concerns

These two-hour classes are held once a week for eight weeks at Golden Pond Assisted Living, 50 West Main Street #1, Hopkinton, from 1:00-3:00 PM. The program takes place on Fridays, September 4, 11, 18, 25, and October 2, 9, 16, 23. Classes are free.
