Hillers Make The MetroWest Daily News Girls Track All-Star Team

The Daily News Girls Indoor Track All-Star team was selected by staff writer Matthew Serocki with input from area coaches and the Daily News Staff. All text by Matt Serocki.

Super Team
Junior Jessica Scott: The TVL co-MVP won the 55-meter dash and long jump at the Tri-Valley League meet and then took second in the
dash and third in the long jump at the Division 3 state meet. She was second in the long jump (17-8.5)
and third in the dash (7.27) at All-States. At New Englands, the junior took third in both events, setting a school record of 7.19 in the dash.
At Nationals, she scored the third-fastest mark all-time in Massachusetts in the 60-meter dash (7.67) and the sixth all-time mark
(7.12) in Massachusetts at 55 meters. Scott also runs outdoor track and wants to attend a four-year university with a major in the medical field.

First Team
Senior Meghan Beidleman: Beidleman was another key cog for the Tri-Valley League champion Hillers. At the Div. 3 state meet, she took seventh
in the long jump (16-01.75), while at All-States, the TVL all-star finished 11th with a jump of 15-11.25.

Hopkinton 4x800 relay: The Hillers are another team that always fields a competitive 4x800 relay. The squad of Lodge, Mary-Paule Monks, Leah Holmes and
Elizabeth Allen were the Division 3 state championship with a time of 9:55.01. They also had a strong showing at All-States,
taking 10th with a time of 9:50.71.
