Santa Visits the Hopkinton Public Library

By Stephanie Kane, News Producer

A few weeks removed from his visit to Hopkinton at Caroling on the Common, Santa Claus made another appearance in town, this time at the library. Children's Librarian Denise Kofron, who invited Santa to join her for the annual holiday story time, read her favorite story "'Twas the Night Before Christmas". In the middle of her story, Santa appeared, and read one of his favorite stories, "The Polar Express", to the children.

After Santa's story, the kids lined up to meet Mr. Claus and tell him what they wanted for Christmas this year. Santa then gave them an early present.

In addition to hosting Santa, the library is also planning a few special children's events for January. Watch the HCAM News video below for details.

And as for Santa...he was back off to the North Pole for some last minute preparations for the big day.
