Wake Up & and Smell the Poetry Coming Up Soon on December 7

Please note: Although we typically meet the third Saturday each month, our next time waking up to poetry, story and song will take place on December 7th.

On December 7th at 10:30 a.m., HCAM Studios will be waking up to the poetry of Rafael Campo, the story-telling of Elisa Pearmain and the songs of Al Gould. All three guest features are not only extraordinary artists, but also work in the field of either medicine/healing or the healing arts. Rafael Campo teaches and practices internal medicine at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and has received the Nicholas E. Davies Memorial Scholar Award from the American College of Physicians, for outstanding humanism in medicine. Elisa Pearmain is a licensed psychotherapist who has used story and narrative therapy with individuals and groups in hospitals, clinical and private practice settings. Al Gould performs his prolific compositions of music on stage as well as providing therapeutic music for number of health care facilities.. (more about features below)
Each guest feature will read/perform for 20 minutes and an open mic for poetry, story and song will follow.

You are invited to come and join as listening audience and help us celebrate the last program of the 2013 season.

  • Doors open at 10:00 a.m., program begins at 10:30
  • Free admission, the public is welcome.
  • Complimentary coffee and scones and an opportunity to meet many interesting artists, writers and people of the community.
