Artist and curator Jamaal Eversley was honored to receive grants in 2022 from Hopkinton, Ashland, Hopedale and Milford local cultural councils to work with teens to create artwork that represents them and their neighborhood.

Based on Louisa May Alcott's life, Little Women follows the adventures of sisters Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy March. Jo is trying to sell her stories for publication, but the publishers are not interested – her friend, Professor Bhaer, tells her that she has to do better and write more from herself.
Begrudgingly taking this advice, Jo weaves the story of herself and her sisters and their experience growing up in Civil War America.
On the August 11th edition of HCAM News at 6:30pm, Jah Spirit jams at the town common, Hopkins School Chess Team takes state championship plus much more, but first a Special Town Meeting will take place on August 18th to vote on funding further expansion at Marathon School.
