This year Hopkinton celebrated Memorial Day while social distancing due to the Corona Virus. American Legion Post 202 Adjutant, Michael Whalen hosted and the ceremony. Speakers included State Representative, Carolyn Dykema, State Senate President, Karen Spilka and Hopkinton Select Board Vice-Chair, John Coutinho among others. About the Event: Grab your favorite beverage, and zoom with us while we learn how Central Public House is meeting the challenge of Covid-19 in the restaurant business! To begin the meeting, Attendees will have a chance to share their strategies during this crisis, and then Michael & Dennis from CPH will spotlight their restaurant and chat with us about their current curbside pick up AND how they are looking forward to opening their doors in Phase 2!

Please be advised that a required fire flow test will take place Thursday, May 28th, at approximately 7:00AM. Crews will be testing the fire pump system on South Street. Because these tests will take place on main transmission lines, customers may notice some discoloration during and after the tests throughout town. Please avoid doing any laundry, dishwasher loads or other water use activities, during this time. Any discoloration that may occur will eventually dissipate. Please check your water before using it.

The Town of Hopkinton today announced that Secretary of the Executive Office of
Housing and Economic Development Mike Kennealy, on behalf of the Baker-Polito
Administration, approved a MassWorks Infrastructure Program Grant in the amount of
$3 million for the Main Street Corridor Project. With this grant, in addition to the April 30
approval by the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) of the $11,346,564 Transportation
Improvement Program (TIP) budget, the project is now fully funded. Additional funding sources
