COVID-19 Scam Warning

By contributor,

The Hopkinton Police want to issue a warning of a COVID-19 Scam where individuals are going door to door claiming to test people for the virus. It is reported they are driving a white van and wearing Hazmat suits. While inside the houses taking fake vitals they are stealing items out in the open. Please be aware there are no organizations going door to door testing people. If you see these individuals please CALL THE POLICE IMMEDIATELY.

Hopkinton Youth Commission gift card program update

By contributor,

Thank you to those that have donated. The gift cards have been put to use. As members of the community have been impacted the needs are increasing! If you are in a place and would like to donate you can place a gift card in an envelope marked Youth and Family Services and drop it in the box outside the town hall door. The mail is being checked twice a day and it will get distributed to the department. The ecards have been working as well! If you should have any questions please feel free to reach out to YC at youthchair@hopkintonma.gov.
