Local Artists gathered at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts to show off their work at the Creative Circles Arts for All Event. The event was hosted by Geri Holland and Cynthia Franca. Catch an extended glimpse of the work and artists below.

Hopkinton Center for the Arts (HCA) announces the return of the Local Scene music series this May. The series of five concerts, sponsored by Middlesex Savings Bank, is a showcase for local music talent from Boston and the MetroWest region. Groove Authority will premiere the start of the series on Friday, May 17 with dance music featuring top 40 hits, Motown, funk, disco, swing, and pop. All concerts will be in the Delbridge Family Performance Space at the HCA, 98 Hayden Rowe St., Hopkinton. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the band starts at 8 p.m. Cash bar.

The Fresh Air Fund looks forward to celebrating National Volunteer Week, which is from April 7th to April 13th this year. It is an opportunity to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our inspiring volunteers, hosts and supporters in Blackstone Valley.

Boy Scout Troop 4 of Hopkinton will hold its Annual Pancake Breakfast on Saturday April 6th, 2019. Breakfast will be served from 7:30am until 11:00am at St. John the Evangelist Church Hall, 20 Church St. in Hopkinton. The scouts will serve original and chocolate chip pancakes, and they will also be offering gluten/dairy/nut free pancakes! Breakfast will include sausage, juice, coffee, and more. While you’re there, take time to bid on the amazing silent auction items donated by our generous sponsors! General admission is $6, $4 for senior citizens and our veterans eat free.

The work of 6 very talented Hopkinton High School artists was put on display at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts. Artists Included: Stephanie Kapelos, Linnea Pappas-Byers, Maddie Mezitt, Ivy Missaggia, Selia Potas and Patrick Webb. The display will be up for public viewing until April 4th.

Recent Vets Breakfasts have had strong attendance, and everyone has enjoyed the animated discussions of veterans history. Won't you try a taste of a good thing? Hopkinton veterans will gather for breakfast on 5 April 2019, at 0900 hours, at the Hopkinton Senior Center to share hot chow and warm camaraderie.

An organization called Safewise, who works to increase home and community safety released the "Top 20 Safest Cities in Massachusetts for 2019" list and Hopkinton is ranked towards the top of the list.
