The Town of Hopkinton seeks a Senior Accounting Manager/Town Accountant
Under the direction of the Town Manager or designee and in accordance with state statutes and town
bylaws, the Senior Accounting Manager/Town Accountant is responsible for planning, controlling and
directing professional accounting, auditing and reporting work for various Town departments in
compliance with Massachusetts General Laws, the Massachusetts Department of Revenue and Bylaws of
the Town of Hopkinton.

The Town of Hopkinton is accepting applications to fill one (1) full-time position and further to establish a list of potential candidates for the FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC position.

Salary Depending on Qualifications and in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Within twelve (12) months of hire, the Firefighter/Paramedic shall make their principal place of residence within the boundaries of the Town of Hopkinton or at any other place within the Commonwealth that is within fifteen (15) miles boundary to boundary of their town and the Town of Hopkinton.

Renew Dog Licenses Now

The New Year has arrived and it is time to come and get your new 2018 Dog Licenses! All 2017 licenses expired on December 31st, but no late fees will be charged until April 1st, 2018. The licensing fee is $10 for spayed/neutered and $15 for unaltered dogs. All dogs aged 6 months or older are required to be licensed by the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Please be sure to supply us with a copy of the rabies certificate (if it has not already been updated in our system) and a neuter/spay certificate if your dog's status has changed since the last time you licensed.

Hopkinton Veterans' Breakfast 5 January 2018

Dear Veterans and Friends:

Welcome to 2018. May the year be happy and healthy for you. A guaranteed start to a great season is your Vets Breakfast on 5 January 2018, at 0900 hours, at the Senior Center. It will be a wonderful opportunity to share camaraderie, community, and chow with fellow veterans.

Tribute will be paid to comrades who passed away during the past month, and those who are on "Sick Call" will be acknowledged. It will be a generous gesture to pay a visit or send a card to one or more of our ailing comrades.
