Hopkinton Garden Club Plant Sale on May 20th Supports Civic Projects

The Hopkinton Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale on Saturday, May 20th from 8 a.m. to noon on the Town Common. Please stop by to choose from our wide selection of perennials from club member gardens; perennials, annuals, herbs and vegetables from select wholesalers. The plant sale is a great opportunity to meet club members and to learn about different varieties of plants. We look forward to sharing our enthusiasm about gardening and to helping you make good plant choices for your garden. Come early for the best selection of plants and bring your friends!

Public Notice Regarding Water Use Restrictions

We are mandated by the town’s water management permit issued by the State, to limit nonessential outdoor use, to protect stream flow, aquatic life and ensure sustainable drinking water. The town is required to implement a MANDATORY State of Water Supply Conservation from May 1st , through September 30th, each year, pursuant to the town’s water use restriction by-law. Under chapter 199-6 Section F; Lawn sprinklers may be used for lawn watering, two days per week, outside of the hours of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Baker-Polito Administration Announces 11th Annual Park Serve Day

BOSTON- The Baker-Polito Administration today announced that the Department of Conservation and Recreation’s (DCR) 11th annual Park Serve Day event will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017. Park Serve Day is a statewide initiative that was created as a day of volunteerism encouraging the public to partner with state government in an effort to prepare the Commonwealth’s many state parks and beaches for the upcoming spring and summer seasons.
