As we approach the start of our roadway resurfacing season I would like to thank the residents of Hopkinton for their continued support of our Pavement Management Program. We had a very successful 2019 season and plan to continue that in 2020 as funding allows. Each street that is on this year’s list has been inspected and evaluated to determine which treatment method is best based on its current condition. This will help ensure that we are maximizing the use of our roadwork funding.

The Massachusetts State Senate is committed to urgently addressing racial inequities in the Commonwealth, to that end Senate President Karen E. Spilka has formed a bipartisan Senate Advisory Group on Racial Justice to review and recommend legislation to consider this session.
The Advisory Group will be chaired by Senator Sonia Chang-Díaz, a member of the Massachusetts Black and Latino Legislative Caucus, and Senate President Pro Tempore Senator William Brownsberger (D-Belmont).
As the chair of the Hopkinton Democratic Town Committee. I am very proud of the slate of candidates that are in our local election and regardless of their partisan affiliation, stand extremely qualified on their own credentials. To note members of this committee do advocate to help elect these candidates locally, regionally, state and nationally we believe in and part of our committee's mission. In addition, we advocate for social justice, inclusion and equality.
Covid-19 testing is now available. Hopkinton residents and employees who meet the required criteria will be able to receive testing on June 18th fro 8:00 am to 3:00 pm by appointment only. Please read the link provided for more information:
