Video: Cops for Kids with Cancer Organization Present Hopkinton Middle School Student with $5000
The Cops for Kids with Cancer organization in coordination with the Hopkinton Police Department presented Hopkinton Middle School Student, Gabriel Sanchez with a $5000 check to help his fight against Cancer.
Chairman and State Police Lieutenant, William Coulter along with retired Chairman and Super Intendent-in-Chief of the Boston Police Department, Bob Faherty presented the check. View scenes below.
Hopkinton Health Department and MetroWest Health Foundation Surveying Parents of Students
The Hopkinton Health Department has partnered with the MetroWest Health Foundation and is seeking parents of students and adults in the community to take the below survey regarding vaping.
Hopkinton Health Director, Shaun McAuliffe stated the results will help develop educational and resource tools for the community. "Based on the survey results, we will develop and provide the residents of Hopkinton educational and resource tools. Similar programming is being developed and targeted to the Middle and High School students, the teachers and school administrators."

Video: Hopkinton Fire & Police Department Present FY2020 Budget to Selectmen
On Friday, February 15th, the Board of Selectmen met with various Town Departments to discuss FY 2020 budget. In the below video, Fire Chief, Stephen Slaman and Police Chief, Edward Lee talk about their department budget requests.
The Hopkinton Fire Department budget includes a request for 3 new Full Time Firefighter positions while the Police Department requests a new Sergeant position.
