Books in Bloom
Monday, October 24 through Saturday, October 29
during library hours

The Hopkinton Garden Club and the Friends of the Library will present Books in Bloom at the library from October 24 to October 29 during regular library hours. Come enjoy the artful arrangements created by Garden Club members reflecting the covers of the books selected by the staff related to the theme "Home and Belonging".

Freedom Team Book Club (recommended ages 16+)
Tuesday, October 25 6:30 - 7:30 pm

Each month, we read a book about bias, discrimination, or inequity. Bring your empathy and a willingness to listen. This month we are reading Not a Nation of Immigrants: Settler Colonialism, White supremacy and a history of erasure and inclusion by Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz. Copies of the books are available at the front desk.

Hopkinton Youth and Family Services Drop In Hours
Wednesday, October 26 2:00 - 4:30 pm

A social worker from Hopkinton Youth and Family Services will be available to answer questions and connect you to resources, and to provide mental health services and behavior health screenings.
No registration is necessary.

Global Diversity Film Festival
Wednesday, October 26 - "Wadjda" 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Saturday, October 29 - "Billu" 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

Trick or Treat at the Library!
Monday, October 31 10:00 am - 7:30 pm

Wear a costume and get a treat at each of the library's service desks throughout the library from 10am-7:30pm! Kids can also get their picture taken with a special princess who is visiting from 5-7pm!
