The monthly veterans breakfast will take place November 4th.
The breakfast starts at 0900 hours at the Senior Center, 28 Mayhew Street.
Tribute will be paid to comrades who have passed-on since the previous breakfast, and those who are on "sick call" will be acknowledged. It is a generous gesture to visit one or more of our ailing local veterans. The local American Legion post has volunteered to lead the Pledge of Allegiance, and blessing of the meal.
Fellow veterans served in all military branches, and are prone to reminisce and swap stories from their personal experiences. Veterans are thankful an anonymous donor will be absorbing the cost of the November breakfast.
