Editorial: First time candidate supports fellow candidates

This is my first time as a candidate running for an elected seat on a board; all my other volunteer positions in Hopkinton were appointed. I have been learning so much from all my fellow Democratic candidates, each and every one has been so helpful and kind to me. I am proud to be running alongside them. Their campaign strategies are totally ethical, respectful, honest and positive! They all have excellent qualifications and experience for the seat on the Committee/Board of which they are seeking. They genuinely care about this community and their main priority is to focus on meeting the needs of our residents. I can assure you that each of these people will be a tremendous asset to this town. I am very excited and happy to support the following candidates:
Mary Jo LaFreniere* and Shahidul Mannan* for Select Board, Nancy Cavanaugh*, Holly Morand* and Jennifer Devlin* for School Committee, Nancy "Punky" Drawe* and Rebeka Hoffman for Housing Authority, Beth Malloy* and Michael Hayes for Constable, Ronny Priefer and Maria Elyse Barrett Mihajloski for Planning Board, Cynthia Esthimer for Parks and Recreation, Connor Degan for Town Clerk, Ellen Rutter for Town Moderator, Peter Mimmo for Board of Assessors, Susan Porter, David Dollenmayer and Anne Beauchamp for Library Board, Susan Kurys for Commissioner of Trust Funds, and Kyla McSweeney for Cemetery Commissioner. *Contested
These are the members of Hopkinton's "Dream Team," and I'm honored to be part of this group! I hope you'll consider voting for all of us on Monday May 16th.
