Hopkinton Soccer, collectively Hopkinton Youth Soccer, HHS Boys Soccer and HHS Girls Soccer, have teamed together to Kick Cancer in 2022. Kick Cancer 2022 aspires to build awareness and raise funds in support of Breast and Ovarian Cancer Research.

The American Cancer Society estimates in the USA for 2022 are:
● About 287,850 new cases of invasive case of breast cancer
● About 43,250 women will die from breast cancer
● About 19,880 new diagnosis of ovarian cancer
● About 12,810 women will die from ovarian cancer

To help fight these deadly diseases we want to build awareness. To get things started we are launching the “Kick Cancer Store”. The store has some great Nike merchandise for players and adults to wear this season. Each item has the Hopkinton Kick Cancer logo with a pink ribbon for breast cancer and a teal ribbon for ovarian cancer. $1 will be donated to Susan F. Smith Center for Women’s Cancers at Dana Farber for each item purchased.

Additionally, we’ve established a goal of raising $1,100 for the Susan F. Smith Center through direct donations. In the spirit of 11 players on a soccer field we’re looking for 100 families to donate $11 to reach our goal.

Donations can be made directly at:

The Kick Cancer Store will be open until Thursday September 8th with items arriving at your homes in late September or early October. Teams and groups should consider ordering together to save on shipping costs.
