Hopkinton's 4H Clubs - the Woodville Trailbusters 4H Horse Club and the Woodville Crafty Cats 4H Club - are once again hosting their annual Haunted Trail Walk on Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26 from 5:30 - 8:30pm at 25 Winter Street in Hopkinton.
The Trail Walk is open to the public and this year will include seven different scenes:
- gypsy fortune tellers
- coffin coiffures (hair salon) There are many heads with an array of hair and make-up styles to view plus manicures.
- Wizard of Oz - Look out for the Cowardly Lion and Wicked Witch.
- Project "Ghost" Runway - Several ghosts are modeling the new sheets designs instead of "plain old white."
- Harry Potter
- Dead and Breakfast Inn & Pub - The inn's rooms are closed for renovation this year, but the pub is open with the Brittle Bones band playing nightly. In addition to the inn the voters gave them a "YES-CASINO" vote approval for the two nights. Along with cards and roulette wheel they have a permit for the off-track betting too. Louis the Loan Shark has an office close by if you run short on cash.
- Torture Tools - If you don't pay Louid back with 75% interest in 10 days, you will probably end up here.
In addition, there will be face painting and games, refreshments for sale,and two contests running for prizes.
Costumes are optional.
All proceeds from the Trail Walk will be used to fund club and community service projects.
