Back to School Wednesday

Dear Families and Faculty,

I drove around the school district today along with Mary Ann Fitzpatrick (Transportation Coordinator) and was impressed with the work that has taken place in the wake of the blizzard, followed by the latest storm. While we enjoy our winding country roads during fair weather, they do provide a significant challenge to maintain in winter. Our DPW should be applauded for the terrific job they have done throughout the past challenging weeks.

We are all looking forward to getting back to school tomorrow. However, the roads remain snow packed, narrow and slippery in many areas. It will be very important to allow extra time in the morning and to drive with extreme caution. Additionally, high snow banks will impact visibility at corners and at bus stops.

Sincerely,
Cathy MacLeod
