Board of Selectmen To Discuss Pending Beaver Related Legislation

Hopkinton's Board of Selectmen meet this Tuesday, November 19 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in Room 215 at Town Hall. Included in the agenda is a discussion related to the growing beaver population in Massachusetts and more specifically in Hopkinton. The Board will review correspondence from Representative Carolyn Dykema regarding pending beaver-related legislation before the Joint Committee on Environment,Natural Resources, and Agriculture as well as a letter from Hopkinton residents Cecilia and Rob DelGaudio of 3 Cranberry Lane citing their concerns about the problems caused by beavers in some neighborhoods in town.
