The Board of Selectmen will meet on Friday, April 13 2012 at 2PM in Room 215 at Town Hall to finalize ballot questions and warrant articles for the May 2012 Town Meeting. According to Town Manager Norman Khumalo, and in compliance with the Town Charter, ballot questions must be submitted to the Town Clerk's Office by April 13.
Regarding the warrant, Khumalo says the Board will vote to sign the 2012 Annual Town Meeting Warrant on April 24, 2012. The Town will publish the town meeting warrant immediately following that vote and before the deadline set in the town charter (8 days before town meeting).
In addition, the Board will consider voting to approve an Honorary Citizen of Hopkinton Proclamation to be presented to SGT. Matthew Chalifoux of Spencer, MA assigned to the 181st Infantry Massachusetts National Guard.
Agenda for the April 13 meeting is attached below. Please note: This meeting was originally scheduled for 6PM and has been changed to 2PM.
