On Sunday May 22 from 4:30 to 6:30pm, members of the Hopkinton High School Drama Ensemble will be in Hopkinton neighborhoods asking for $1 donations for their upcoming trip to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. You will know them by their official HHS Drama Fringe Festival t-shirts.
The Hopkinton High School Drama Department, under the direction of Valerie von Rosenvinge, has been selected to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the world's largest and most prestigious arts festival, as part of the American High School Theatre Festival (AHSTF).
Hopkinton High School, long recognized for its entertaining and innovative productions, was selected by the AHSTF Board of Advisors made up of college theatre professionals, to represent the country as part of the 2011 ASHTF program.
The upcoming Dollar Day this Sunday is yet another fundraiser to support the trip to Scotland planned for August.
