"Far East Deep South" Film Presentation & Discussion Tuesday, May 11 7:00 - 9:00 pm on Zoom

In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Hopkinton Library will host a screening of the moving film "Far East Deep South" about a family that learns about the racially complex history of Chinese immigrants in the segregated South during the Chinese Exclusion era. A post-film discussion with the writer/director, Larissa Lam and producer, Baldwin Chiu will follow. www.fareastdeepsouth.com

The film will be available to screen from 1-7 pm and the discussion will be held from 7-9 pm.
