Four candidates will be recommended to the Board of Selectmen for consideration as the next Police Chief of Hopkinton. The four finalists are Interim Police Chief Charles Wallace, Sergeant Joseph Bennett, Captain Edward Lee and Lieutenant Thomas Lynch.
According to Bob Levenson, Chairman of the Police Chief Search Committee, the decision to recommend all four candidates was unanimous. “We were told by an experienced consultant that if we had a difficult time deciding, then we did our job. Well, we had a hard time deciding; however, we all agree that any one of the four candidates would be an excellent choice for chief."
Chairman Levenson will brief the Board of Selectmen at the next Selectmen meeting on February 4th.
