Golden Pond Assisted Living invites you to our free events taking place throughout the month of February. On Monday, February 9, there will be a Veteran’s Talk. What is the Veteran’s Aid and Attendance Benefit, and who is eligible? This talk is presented by John Givner, Director of Veteran Services for the town of Hopkinton. The talk is from 6:30-8:00 PM, and there is a free Open House tour at the same time.
On Wednesday, February 8, there will be a Hospice Talk. It is an introduction to Hospice and what you need to know to comfort your loved one. The talk is presented by Deb Tishler, RN of Brookhaven Hospice from 6:30-8:00 PM.
There will be another Open House tour on Saturday, February 21 from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM.
And on Thursday, February 26, there will be an Avoiding Falls talk with advice on how to minimize the risk of falls. The talk is presented by Caretenders Physicial and Occupational Therapy, Optimum Balance, from 3:00-4:30 PM.
