Please park at the Woodville Rod & Gun Club, located across the street from the Sanctuary. Refreshments will be served before and after the meeting. The Annual business meeting will be conducted with a review of the past year’s accomplishments, overview of water quality testing results, elections of Board of Director members and plans for 2020 events.

The meeting will also feature a presentation by members Gail Clifford and John Palmer on a brief history of early industry in Woodville and when and why Massachusetts took over Lake Whitehall. They will also talk about some of the historic homes in Woodville. John and Gail are both active members of the Hopkinton Historical Society. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.

The Friends of Whitehall’s annual membership appeal letter was sent out earlier this year to neighborhoods around the lake. Anyone who is interested in the lake is urged to join us at the meeting and consider membership. 2019 was a milestone year for FOW as we reached 100 memberships! We hope to continue to grow this year. Please join us on April 8th and learn how you can help in the conservation and preservation of Lake Whitehall and its surrounding areas.
Future Friends of Whitehall events include the spring lake and trail cleanup, April 25th at the boat landing. Please visit our website for more information: www.friendsofwhitehall.org. We are also on Facebook.
