Helen A. Haven, 91, of Hopkinton, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Countryside Nursing Home in Framingham. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Adele (Zambelli) Tedeschi and Lena (Dieana) Tedeschi. She was the wife of the late Donald Lyman Haven.

Helen was a former resident of Ashland and the Hopkinton Housing Authority and had lived at Countryside Nursing Home in Framingham since 2010. She had worked for Telechron for 19 years and also worked in many local establishments. She loved animals, family, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was very kind and compassionate and enjoyed knitting.

She is survived by her children, Lynn Haven of Leyden, MA, Paul Haven and his wife Lorrie of Framingham, Joe Haven and his wife Laurie of Hilton Head, SC, and Brad Haven and his wife Jayne of Millis; her twin sister, Alma Acton of Harwich; 10 grandchildren, Katherine, Matthew, Donya, Adam, Brittney, Julie, Tracey, Michael, Elizabeth, Danielle and 4 great-grandchildren, Anna, Maggie, Nathan and Jacob. She is predeceased by her sister, Josephine Rio, formerly of Hudson.
