Hiller Cheer Brings On The Heat in Woodville

The Hopkinton High School Cheerleaders held a Chili Cook Off Fundraiser on Saturday at the Woodville Rod and Gun Club. The cheerleaders ran the event to raise monies to offset costs to run the program.

There we seven pots of chili entered from around the community from Cheer Parents to the Hopkinton Fire Department. Along with the contest, several business made donations that were raffle off.

The winners were Steve Furlong, who won the Top Spot, followed by Pat Gross of the Fire Department came in second and third place was Jen Holmes.

The event organizer, Christina Anderson was very happy with the turn out and said "The team would like to thank the many local businesses that donated prizes to the raffles." "Also, a huge thanks to the Woodville Rod & Gun club for the use of their facility. And, last but not certainly not least, all the participants in the cook off. Without you this wouldn't be possible."
