At the halfway mark in the regular season, the Girls Varsity Tennis team is the first of the spring sports teams to qualify for the state tournament. Their record is now 9-0 overall and 7-0 in the Tri Valley League after their latest victory on Tuesday. The Lady Hillers swept Medway winning at all 5 positions. in singles action, #1 Olivia Anderson, #2 Vanessa Prathab, and #3 Devon LaMachia won easily in straight sets. The doubles teams of Ameera Hammouda & Katie Schneider and Sydney Emerson & Laney Emerson recorded strong victories to cap off the shutout.
Hopkinton so far has beat Westwood, Ashland, Dover/Sherborn, Medfield, Mansfield, Holliston, Wellesley, Millis and Medway.
