Hillers Win, The Cellys came early and often.

The event started with the crowd rising to their feet and players removing their helmets for a moment of silence for Abby Benford.

The Hillers had an offensive explosion in their second game of the season VS Assabet. The team rolled up 9 goals on the night. The special teams were outstanding with the power play going 3/5 and the penalty kill going 8/9.

Jordan Carroll led all scorers with a hat trick and two assists. Cam Finlayson and Danny Johnson also added 2 goals a piece with Fin adding 2 assist as well. Brandon Carty and Dan Delaney, with his first career goal, rounded out the scoring. Other assists went to Alex Terry (3), Brendan O’Leary (2), Alex Kosheff (2) Dan Delaney (2) and Matt Decina 1.
Danny Collins was outstanding between the pipes pitching two shutout periods. Zack Rodgers played the third and also made some great saves, while Assabet’s only goal came with the Hillers shorthanded.

Next up is the Christmas Tournament in Fitchburg on Friday and Saturday night.
