Hillers Win With Extra Inning Walk Off Homer

The Hiller Varsity Baseball team improved to 6-2 (Overall, TVL) with a 4-3 walk-off victory in 10 innings over the Westwood Wolverines on May 1. Trailing 3-1 entering the bottom of the 10th, Senior Ryan Sullivan hit a 3-run walk-off home run for the win. Junior Nick Casassa began the bottom of the 10th with a single, and was followed by junior Andrew McMillan's walk, setting up Sullivan's winning homer. Junior Chris Moberg hit a solo home run in the 5th inning to account for Hopkinton's other run. Junior Nick Burns pitched seven strong innings, allowing just one run while striking out seven. McMillan picked up the win with three solid innings of relief, striking out five.
