The Town of Hopkinton welcomes its new Parks and Recreation Director, Jennifer Floyd. Ms. Floyd is slated to step into her new role on Tuesday, April 9, 2013.
Ms. Floyd comes to us with more than eight years experience in the field. Her most recent position was with the Town of Belmont where she worked for nearly five (5) years as the Town’s Park and Recreation Coordinator. In addition, Ms. Floyd was also the Social Staff Director for the Eastover Resort and Conference Center. She has also held numerous volunteer assignments with Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (MADD) Strides for Change of Boston; the Children’s Physical Development Clinic; and the Massachusetts Special Olympics.
Ms. Floyd will assume her responsibilities in the Park and Recreation Office located at Hopkinton’s Town Hall on 18 Main Street.
