Have you ever wondered about the day-to-day lives of our Colonial
ancestors? A lively program by Patricia Perry, a costumed historical interpreter, will be presented by the Hopkinton Historical Society on Sunday, October 6 at 2 p.m.

Ms. Perry will explore the day-to-day customs of our colonial ancestors with costumes, props and lively conversation and cover such topics as chamber pots, the number of petticoats to be worn, bathing - or not, and manners. Were the good old days really that good?

Audience participation is part of the show, and Ms. Perry brings up a man and a woman to dress appropriately and instructs them in proper greetings. Despite its saucy overtone, the program is suitable for all ages and genders. Come and find out.

Program is free and light refreshments will be served after the program. No RSVP necessary. For additional information call Ray at 508-435-9865.
