The Hopkinton Police Department is actively investigating a motor vehicle crash that occurred on Hayden Rowe Street in the area of Chamberlain Street. At 12:06 p.m. the Hopkinton Public Safety Dispatch Center received multiple reports of a head on rollover crash. Police and Fire responded and found a two car crash with one of the drivers still trapped in the vehicle. Fire rescue personnel extricated a 77 year old Londonderry, New Hampshire women from the vehicle. She was transported to a local hospital with what appear to be non life threatening injuries.

The other driver was identified as 55 year old Kim Lupien of Milford, Massachusetts. It was determined on scene that Lupien had crossed the double yellow centerline and struck the oncoming vehicle head on. The severe impact caused Lupiens vehicle to rotate and roll over onto its roof. The investigation further revealed that Lupien was under the influence of narcotics. She was transported to the hospital in the custody of the Hopkinton Police. She is being charged with Negligent Operation, Operating Under the Influence of Drugs and a Marked Lanes violation.
