Hopkinton Parks & Recreation aligned with the NFL to start a women's flag football league. The league was started last year and over 40 women joined, said Parks and Recreation Director Jay Guelfi "it's almost like a sorority now... they compete hard...it's really become a nice Monday night for the ladies".
A number of participants in the flag football league mentioned they had a great time playing and it was a great way to get exercise as well as socialize. The league is looking to start up once again this month and is seeking more participants! To register for the league, click here.
