A federal judge has formally sentenced Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev to death for the 2013 terror attacks. Tsarnaev was found on guilty on all 30 counts against him on April 8th, 17 of the 30 charges made Tsarnaev eligible for the death penalty.

U.S. District Judge George O'Toole Jr. pronounced the sentence Wednesday in Boston. He was required under law to impose the jury's death sentence for the April 15, 2013, attack that killed three people and wounded more than 260 others.

A Fox 25 Report states the judge said no one will remember that his teachers or friends were fond of him. He says what they will remember is that Tsarnaev "murdered and maimed innocent people" and "did it willfully and intentionally." Tsarnaev looked down and rubbed his hands together as the judge sentenced him.

According to a Fox 25 report: A federal judge quoted William Shakespeare as he formally sentenced Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev to death for the 2013 terror attacks. Judge George O'Toole Jr. spoke Wednesday after Tsarnaev apologized in court for what he had done.

According to the report, Judge O' Toole Jr stated; "One of Shakespeare's characters observes, 'The evil that men do lives after them. The good is often interred with their bones.' He added: "So it will be for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev."

Tsarnaev gets the right to an automatic appeal with the death penalty sentencing.
