Dear Supporters,
We hope you had a nice Christmas. As we head into the end of 2018 please consider a donation to help us achieve our mission to #stopanaphylaxis®, perhaps today on Abbie’s 21st birthday.

It’s been a busy year for the KeepSmilin4Abbie Foundation® starting with our 2018 Boston Marathon team, Rachel McLean and Alyssa Lurie both finished their run to Boston on a cold and miserable day in April. In May, we funded awareness programs by Kyle Dine in the Southborough, Massachusetts elementary schools. In June, we funded two scholarships at Hopkinton HS, awarding $2,500 (each) to David Antaki and Sophie Schneider. We have funded ~$40,000 in scholarship commitments since we started five years ago. In July, we visited the Wyss Institute with other families who have lost children to anaphylaxis. We remembered Oakley, Natalie, Elijah, Giovanni and Abbie and committed ourselves to helping the tens of millions who are at risk of anaphylaxis. Our fundraiser in August was our best-ever. In October, we funded awareness programs by Kyle Dine at the Elmwood Elementary School in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. We ended the year with some Boston-area press interest on Project Abbie. We had a good year from a fundraising perspective. Our Boston Marathon team exceeded their goal! The summer field hockey fundraiser also exceeded expectations. A special thank you to AAA New England who sponsored the event with a $10,000 donation. The Hopkinton Field Hockey program raised over $3,000 in a fundraiser! As we head into the end of the year please consider a donation to help us achieve our mission to #stopanaphylaxis®.

A special thank you to all of our sponsors, AAA New England, Solect Energy, UniBank, EL Harvey, Specht PT, ERA Key Realty, Hopkinton Dental Associates, The Spoon, Phipps Insurance, and Among the Flowers. All are local businesses so please show your support of them as a thank you for supporting us.

Thank you for your continued support of the Foundation. There are over 15,000,000 Americans at risk of anaphylaxis, with comparable incidence rates in Europe, together we are working to help tens of millions of people! We are honored to partner with Red Sneakers for Oakley, the Natalie Giorgi Sunshine Foundation, love for Giovani Foundation, Elijah-Alavi Foundation, and End Allergies Together in our mission to #stopanaphylaxis®.

We wish everyone a healthy 2019!
