Michael Jay Anderson, 24, of Hopkinton, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015 as a result of a motorcycle accident. Born in Framingham, he was the son of Michelle (Welsch) White and her husband Chris of Hopkinton and Robert S. Anderson of Florida.

Michael was a longtime butcher at the former Colella's Supermarket in Hopkinton and most recently at Roche Bros. in Natick. He enjoyed cars, motorcycles, fishing, cooking and boxing. He had a love for his cat Baxter and also for his late cat Shadow.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Sophia White, Hailey and Brendon Anderson; his maternal grandparents, Sharon and Ralph Welsch of Hopkinton; his paternal grandparents, Linda and Roger Anderson of Florida; his aunts and uncles, Donald Patch, Kim Welsch, Sherry Anderson, and Karen and Glenn Baker, as well as many cousins. He also leaves behind his girlfriend of 6 years, Brandi Webb of Hopkinton. He is predeceased by his cousin, Kolleen.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 1st from 4-8p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton, www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com 57 Hayden Rowe St. A service will take place in the funeral home on Saturday, May 2nd at 11:00a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Baypath Humane Society, 5 Rafferty Rd.
