The Massachusetts Association of Councils on Aging (MCOA) has launched a new Regional Networking Group program right in Hopkinton to support and assist people 50+ years old who are looking for a new job or guidance in transitioning into a new career direction.

If you are unemployed and actively looking for work, underemployed and looking for a new career direction, or recently retired, not ready to stop working and looking for your "Encore Career", this program is for YOU!

As an active member of your local Regional Networking Group program, you join a regularly scheduled and professional forum to develop new relationships and acquire critical skills to help you in your career transition.

This program is open to anyone who resides in MA and is 50 years and older. Meetings are held at the Hopkinton Council on Aging (COA) biweekly on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 9:00 AM. Our next meeting will be on February 25th, and we'll be covering How to Overcome the Objection: "You're Over Qualified" with Guest Speaker Bill Lippincott, Career Transition Coach.

The Hopkinton COA is located at 28 Mayhew St, (508-497-9730). Meetings are moderated by Dawn Quesnel, of CoachDQ.com, a Certified Career & Life Coach and creator of the B.R.I.D.G.E Method for the Encore Career and Amy Beck, Co-Facilitator and Assistant Director of the Hopkinton COA. There is a nominal fee of $5 to attend. Coffee and water are provided to encourage networking!

We look forward to seeing you at our next Networking Meeting on February 25th at 9:00 AM! Bring your Resume & Business Card!
