The Town of Hopkinton seeks residents who are interested in serving on the Hopkinton Historic District Commission.

The Hopkinton Center Historic District was established in 1979 and serves to preserve and protect the distinctive characteristics of buildings and places significant in the history of Hopkinton, or significant for their architecture, the maintenance and improvement of settings for such buildings and places, and the encouragement of designs compatible with them. The Commission reviews and makes determinations on proposed modifications to architectural features, in accordance with the provisions of Hopkinton General Bylaws Chapter 123, Historic Districts.

The Historic District Commission consists of seven (7) members who are appointed to three (3) year terms.
