Dear Student/Parent(s) of the Class of 2014,
If you are interested in parking for the school year 2013 – 2014; you will be assigned a lot from
the lottery. Please note that all of the paperwork must be filled out COMPLETELY and the
correct documentation attached to participate. Students will be assigned a lot and in that lot,
spaces will be available on a first come, first serve basis. The senior lots will be lots F, Senior
Lot (some spots will be faculty), A, (Water towers), D, (Tennis Courts), and H Lot.
The parking fee is $190.00. Payment for parking can now be done on-line. Please see the link on
the District Websites front page, located in the top area of the page. All fees are due at the time
of application. For students to submit an application each student MUST present and attach:
1. An application, signed by the student and their parent(s) indicating they have read,
understand and agree to obey the rules.
2. A copy of your valid driver’s license or learner’s permit and registration of the vehicle
you will be using (no friend’s cars) (learner’s permit if license has not been obtained yet
but will be over the summer).
3. A copy of the receipt of on-line payment or a check written out to Hopkinton Public
Schools.
Parking applications can be downloaded off the school website, picked up in the school resource
office or in the main lobby. I/we will accept completed application packets until Thursday,
June 13th, 2013 at 9:45 am. Parking assignments will be completed by June 17, 2013. Any
incomplete application(s) will not be accepted. I will ask under classmen to assist me with the
lottery.
The 2013-2014 academic, school year will begin on Wednesday, September 4, 2013. During the
week of September 9, 2013, we will be issuing the parking decals to seniors. All lots will be
distinguished by the color of decal. When picking up your parking pass, please see the attached
diagram for the location of the decal. Doctor’s notes will not be allowed for a student to park in
a closer lot. We cannot accommodate the number of injuries that occur throughout the year.
You must park in your assigned lot at all times. Absolutely no visitor parking at any time!
