Representative Dykema and local Veterans groups would like to invite the public to visit the Iraq and Afghanistan Fallen Heroes Moving Memorial that will be stationed in Holliston this week.

“I am honored to have been able to work with the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Memorial Fund and local veterans groups to bring the traveling memorial to Holliston,” said Rep. Dykema. “These brave men and women have given their lives to protect our freedoms. This memorial is a way for us to honor their memory.”

"The Massachusetts Iraq and Afghanistan Fallen Heroes Memorial has put in tremendous effort to make sure that Massachusetts service men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice are not forgotten," said Steve Bradford, head of the Holliston Fallen Heroes Committee. "It is an honor for Holliston to host this memorial in town for the week and I look forward to meeting with many residents of Holliston and neighboring towns at the memorial."

The memorial is an interactive tribute that will be traveling across the Commonwealth to honor those 159 Massachusetts service men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Children are especially welcome.
