Request for Proposals – Town of Hopkinton Resident Food Security Project

The Town of Hopkinton is seeking proposals from non-profit, 501(c)(3) organizations interested in being the lead entity on a new food security initiative. This new initiative is intended to meet the nutritional needs of Hopkinton residents by seeking innovative ways to expand perishable food programs that are currently being offered. The organization that is chosen to lead this initiative will be granted $25,000 to be disbursed January 1, 2018 and utilized by June 30, 2018.

Organizations interested in applying should submit a one-page proposals no later than 12pm on Friday, November 1, 2017 to:

Requirements for proposals:
Proposals should be one-page in length and should include:  Mission, goals, and brief history of the organization that is applying for funding  Brief description of current programs and populations served by the organization  Discussion of the organization’s experience facilitating food programs to children and families in Hopkinton  Detailed description of the organization’s plan for using the funding to expand food programs to Hopkinton residents  Identification of other groups the organization intends to collaborate with
